To ensure long life we recommend that it is essential to maintain your roof before it becomes a problem that could cost you time and money.
Regularly clean your roof surface and debris in gutters and down pipes to ensure normal water flow.
It is advisable when walking on the roof you put a plank of wood down to disperse your weight and only walk on the nail lines.
The best way to clean the surface to remove all traces of dirt, oil, dust, salt etc is with a mild pressure water wash, containing cleaning agents. Thoroughly rinse off.
Ensure that your roof is well fastened to its supporting structures. If in doubt consult with the supplier.
Depending on the environment you live in your Onduline roof may need painting with an acrylic paint at some stage to give it an enhanced life and maintain colour.
