Performance Data

Loading: Onduline can withstand concentrated loading (e.g. footsteps) up to 61.7kg (136lb).

Chemical: Onduline is resistant to attack by most corrosive chemicals.

Biological: Onduline sheeting is resistant to mould growth and attack by insects.

Effect of High and Low Temperatures: Onduline will resist extremes of temperature from -200C to 700C without any visible damage.

Sunlight: The structural performance of Onduline is not affected by prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. Coloured sheeting has a colour fastness of 7 using test methods of BS 1006, 1953.

Acoustic: Onduline has been used as acoustic barriers on motorways.

 

Technical Data

Onduline has passed the E2 AS1 Weather-tight Test and along with our Branz Appraisal we are now proceeding with Product Certification. The Onduline Cladding System meets the relevant performance requirements of the New Zealand Building Code including external moisture.
